At the box office over the weekend ended May 5, “Iron Man 3″ opened at No. 1 with $175.3 million in ticket sales, followed by “Pain and Gain” with $7.6 million.
In DVD rentals for the week ended April 28, according to IMDb, “Django Unchained” was at No. 1 for the second week in a row, followed again by “This Is 40.”
On iTunes yesterday morning “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis was at No. 1, followed by Pink’s “Just Give Me a Reason.”
And in books, “The Hit” by David Baldacci debuted at No. 1 on The New York Times’ paperback fiction best-sellers list for the week ended April 27, and it was also No. 1 on USA Today’s book chart for the week of May 2.
