Top five networks in primetime (total viewers): TNT, USA, Fox News Channel, Disney Channel, TBS.
Top five cable news networks in primetime (25-54): Fox News Channel, HLN, MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, FBN.
Top five cable news programs (total viewers): 1. Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” (Monday, 8 p.m.); 2. Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” (Thursday, 8 p.m.); 3. Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” (Wednesday, 8 p.m.); 4. Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” (Tuesday, 8 p.m.); 5. Fox News Channel’s “Special Report with Bret Baier” (Wednesday, 6 p.m.).
Top movie (18-49s): No movie during the week made the top 50 among viewers 18-49.
Top sporting event (total viewers): TNT’s “NBA Basketball: Chicago/Miami” (Wednesday, 7 p.m.) 6.62 million.
Shows making the top 10 among 18-34s, 18-49s and 25-54s: TNT’s “NBA Basketball: Chicago/Miami” (Wednesday, 7 p.m.); TNT’s “NBA Basketball: Golden State/San Antonio” (Tuesday, 9:43 p.m.); TNT’s “NBA Basketball: Memphis/Oklahoma City” (Wednesday, 9:49 p.m.); TNT’s “NBA Basketball: Oklahoma City/Memphis” (Monday, 9:43 p.m.); ESPN’s “NBA Basketball: New York/Indiana” (Saturday, 7:59 p.m.).
Show on the rise: Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch,” Tuesday, 9 p.m. The reality show averaged 1.88 million viewers 25-54, up 9 percent from 1.72 million the previous week.
Show on the decline: A&E’s “Bates Motel,” Monday, 10 p.m. The first-year drama tumbled 18 percent week-to-week among 18-49s, from 1.61 million to 1.32 million.
