NBC’s “Community” may be coming to an end sooner rather than later, but it appears the network won’t be cutting ties with actor Ken Jeong. The actor, who plays Chang on “Community,” is developing a new comedy with the network called “Dr. Ken,” about his days as a doctor before he became an actor. Jared Stern will write the pilot episode of the project.
Fox has added actress Saundra Santiago to its upcoming drama “Gang Related,” replacing Maria Canals-Barrera in the cast. Santiago most recently made an appearance on CBS’s “Person of Interest.”
Actor John Noble has joined the cast of Fox’s new drama “Sleepy Hollow,” in a recurring role as a recluse with supernatural powers. Noble has previous Fox experience on the network’s old drama “Fringe.”
Seattle agency Cole & Weber United has named Elizabeth Rowny managing director and partner, reporting to president Mike Doherty. Rowny had been worldwide managing director at TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York.
Arnold Worldwide has made two promotions, naming Paul Nelson and Elliott Seaborn managing directors in the agency’s Boston office. The duo was previously in charge of the agency’s marketing group.
Kerry Keenan has joined Deutsch New York, becoming partner and chief creative officer at the agency beginning on Sept. 30. Keenan has previously worked at BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi and Y&R.
Jaime Hodges has joined Phoenix Marketing International as executive vice president of its healthcare division, Phoenix Healthcare. Hodges was most recently at Millward Brown for three years.
LinkedIn has named Penry Price vice president of global sales for marketing solutions, effective immediately. Price has previously held positions at Google and Dstillery.
Foreign Affairs magazine has named Kirk Brown regional sales manager, working with the Washington, D.C., metro area. Brown was most recently publisher at KMI Media Group.
Seventeen magazine has made a number of moves, including promoting Miranda Sheppard to deputy art director and Syndie Goodwin to designer. The title has also made a trio of hires, naming Kristin Koch deputy site editor, Brittany Burke senior editor and Lindsay Schallon features editor.
Getty Images has named Matthew Bencke senior vice president of product and customer experience, a newly created position. Bencke joins from Microsoft, where he was general manager of its Xbox Live subscription business.
