Beverly Hills agency KO Creative has named Ralph Galvan director of business development, reporting to chief executive officer Kristi Kilday. Galvan is also co-president and producer at T-Wong Productions.

Andrea Spiegel has been named managing director at Partners + Napier, working in the agency's New York office. Spiegel had been executive vice president of account management at Leo Burnett in Chicago.

 

 

Erin Felentzer has been named vice president of public relations at TNT, based in the network's Atlanta office. Felentzer had been vice president of communications at ABC Entertainment Group.

Randy Pope has been named vice president of programming at Crown Media Family Networks, which includes Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. Pope was previously senior vice president of production and development at Larry Levinson Productions.

AMC Networks has named John Hsu treasurer, in addition to his current role as senior vice president of financial strategy. Before he joined AMC, Hsu was vice president of financial planning at Cablevision.

USA has added Annie Potts to its comedy pilot "Paging Dr. Freed," joining Kyle Howard and Joel David Moor in the cast. According to Deadline, Howard and Moore will play gynecologist brothers and Potts will play their mother.

 

 

Rodale has named Anne Alexander senior vice president and editorial director at Prevention magazine, reporting to Maria Rodale. Alexander was previously senior vice president and editorial director at National Geographic Books.

 

 

Mobile marketing technology company Mobile Posse has made two hires, naming Daniel Fowler executive vice president of national advertising sales and Sharon Kelley vice president of sales for the Western region. Fowler joins from Perfect Sense Digital, Kelley from Adregate Markets.

 

 

"The Voice" will have a new look come spring. NBC said yesterday that Shakira and Usher will replace Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green on the hit singing show for next year's fourth season. The network said that Aguilera and Green have touring and recording commitments that will keep them from participating. It marks the latest round of musical chairs for judges that has seen "American Idol" and "The X Factor" replace a great deal of their panels as well.

Actor Stanley Tucci has joined PBS as host of "Independent Lens," according to Entertainment Weekly, with his first appearance airing on Oct. 8. Previous hosts of the documentary series include Susan Sarandon, Angela Bassett and Don Cheadle.

Nikki Blonksy, who starred in "Hairspray," has been added to the ever-growing cast of NBC's "Smash." She joins Jesse L. Martin and Jennifer Hudson as featured guests.

Actor Jonathan Banks will guest on CBS's new drama "Vegas" for a multi-episode arc in its first season, according to TVLine, playing a gangster from Chicago. Banks is also set to guest on NBC's "Parks and Recreation" this season.

NBC has named Louise Roe host of "Fashion Star" for the upcoming second season, replacing season-one host Elle Macpherson. Roe is also fashion editor at large at Glamour magazine, and she previously hosted CW's "Plain Jane."
