GroupM North America has named Ari Bluman chief digital investment officer, reporting to chief investment officer Rino Scanzoni. Bluman had been North America president at Real Media Group, a fellow WPP company. He had been with 24/7 Media, Real Media's parent company, for 15 years.
INNOCEAN USA, an ad agency based in Huntington Beach, Calif., has made three hires, naming Peter Cole vice president and director of creative technology, Uwe Gutschow vice president and digital and engagement strategy director, and Lester Perry vice president of digital account services. Cole joins from R/GA, Gutschow from Saatchi & Saatchi and Perry from T3.
Tiffany Coletti Titolo has been named director of client services at StrawberryFrog, a new position at the agency. Coletti Titolo, who will report to chief executive Scott Goodson, was previously managing director at DOJO in San Francisco.
Alexandra Isabelle has joined SMM Advertising as an account coordinator, after working at the agency as a marketing intern last summer. Isabelle is a recent graduate of Quinnipiac University.
Meredith Corp.'s customer engagement agency Meredith Xcelerated Marketing has made two additions, naming Steve Kerho senior vice president and chief strategy officer and Doug Rozen senior vice president and general manager of The Hyperfactory, its mobile practice. Kerho joins from Organic Inc., Rozen from Aimia.
Meredith Corp. has named Faith Gingold associate publisher for sales at Ladies' Home Journal, reporting to the title's publisher, Diane D. Malloy. Gingold was most recently Eastern advertising director at Southern Living.
Fernando J. Hernandez has been named senior vice president of alternative development at Universal Television, a newly created position. Hernandez joins from Ryan Seacrest Productions, where he was executive vice president of development at production.
LL Cool J's alter ego special agent on "NCIS: Los Angeles" would be proud. Yesterday morning the actor subdued a man who tried to break into his house while he and his family were there, according to Los Angeles police. The suspected burglar was a homeless person, police said, who received bruises in the fight. LL Cool J's daughter called 911 to report the break-in and said her father was holding the intruder after capturing him.
Bieber Fever has spread to Springfield. Fox has signed on Justin Bieber to do a guest voice on "The Simpsons" during its upcoming 24th season, playing himself. In the episode Bieber tries to earn a spot in a talent show where Bart is playing piano.
Golf Channel has named David Schaefer vice president of communications, based in the network's Orlando office. Schaefer had been at Discovery Communications for 13 years, most recently as senior director of communications.
African American-themed network Bounce TV has added Billy Hall to its staff, naming him executive vice president of programming and production. Hall joins from Turner, where he was vice president of programming and digital scheduling for TNT and TBS.
Outdoor Channel has named Lorey Zlotnick senior vice president of marketing, based in Los Angeles and reporting to chief executive Tom Hornish. Zlotnick was previously senior vice president of marketing and on-air promotion at Fuel TV.
Chloe Sevigny is keeping herself busy post-"Big Love." The actress will appear on the third season of the IFC sketch comedy "Portlandia," after recently wrapping up a stint as a transgender hit woman on "Hit and Miss." She is also appearing on season two of FX's "American Horror Story."
