ABC has added Julianne Hough as a fourth judge on “Dancing with the Stars” this season, joining judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. Hough has previously served as a dancer and a guest judge on the reality competition.
“The Insider’s” Kevin Frazier has been named co-host of “Entertainment Tonight,” working alongside Nancy O’Dell. Miami anchor Louis Aguirre will move to Los Angeles to replace Frazier on “Insider.”
CBS has added Rachel Brosnahan to the cast of its miniseries “The Dovekeepers,” based on the novel by Alice Hoffman. Brosnahan currently appears on “Manhattan,” and she’s also previously appeared on “The Blacklist” and “House of Cards.”
Former “Desperate Housewives” actress Eva Longoria will guest on Fox’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” this season, appearing in three episodes as a possible love interest for Andy Samberg’s character. Longoria most recently made guest appearances on “The Simpsons” and “Welcome to the Family.”
Actresses Megan Mullally and Natalie Morales will both return to NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” this season, its seventh and final on the air. Mullally will reprise her role as the ex of real-life husband Nick Offerman’s character, while Morales will appear as a possible love interest to Aziz Ansari’s character.
Liz Holzman, an Emmy-winning animator who worked on shows including “Pinky and the Brain” and “Animaniacs,” died earlier this week at age 61 after a battle with cancer. During her career Holzman was nominated for nine Daytime Emmys. Other shows she worked on include “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” “Smurfs,” “DuckTales,” “Muppet Babies,” “Adventures of the Gummi Bears,” “Darkwing Duck” and “Garfield and Friends.”
Ad agency BBH has promoted Neil Munn to global chief executive officer, replacing the departed Gwyn Jones. Munn had been global chief operating officer.
U.S. News & World Report has made a pair of moves, including hiring Kim Heneghan as vice president and general manager of its new Money Products team. Heneghan had been online general manager at Hanley Wood. U.S. News has also promoted Kim Castro to executive editor for consumer advice, up from managing editor for money and health.
Nylon magazine has made three additions, naming Patty Adams Martinez editor at large and Busra Erkara and Mickey Stanley senior editors. Martinez previously worked as a contributing editor at multiple titles, while Erkara joins from Bullett Media and Stanley from Vanity Fair.
Showtime has added Tony Shalhoub to the cast of “Nurse Jackie” in a recurring role as an emergency room doctor. Shalhoub won three straight Emmys from 2005 to 2007 for his role in “Monk.”
