No Doubt lead singer Gwen Stefani is reportedly set to join NBC’s “The Voice” for its seventh season, replacing Christina Aguilera as a coach, according to multiple reports. Stefani will join Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams on the coaches’ panel.
First Lady Michelle Obama and country singer Kellie Pickler are both scheduled to guest on ABC’s “Nashville,” appearing on the May 7 episode. In the episode, Rayna organizes a charity concert at Fort Campbell.
David Burke, a former executive vice president at ABC News and president at CBS News, died last week at age 78. No cause was given. Burke became vice president at ABC News in 1977, later rising to executive vice president. He was president at CBS News from 1988 to 1990, leading the network’s coverage of the first Gulf War.
Creative content agency Bonfire Labs has made three additions, naming Tim Pries executive producer, John Hunt producer and Judy Leung designer. Pries joins from Google, Hunt from Discovery Channel and Leung from the Pacifica Chamber of Commerce.
AMC/Sundance Channel global has promoted Marco Frazier, naming him senior vice president of global distribution for the EMEA region. Frazier previously worked with business development and global distribution.
USA has added Coby Ryan McLaughlin to the cast of “Graceland” for its second season, in a recurring guest role as a member of the LAPD gang task force. McLaughlin most recently made appearances on “CSI” and “90210.”
Entertainment Weekly has brought in Kyle Ryan, naming him editor for EW.com. Ryan joins from The Onion’s A.V. Club, where he was most recently managing editor.
Time Inc. has promoted Nina Willdorf to editor of All You magazine, reporting to group editor Clare McHugh. Willdorf had been executive editor.
Ajai Sehgal has been named chief technology officer at HootSuite, the social media platform. Sehgal is a former vice president of product and technology at Groupon.
Singer Ricky Martin is set to appear in “SuperSong,” a music special airing on the online video service Crackle. In the special Martin will help a contest winner record a song for the 2014 FIFA World Cup official album.
