KimRaverCBS has added actress Kim Raver to the cast of “NCIS: Red,” playing a special agent in its upcoming spinoff of “NCIS: Los Angeles.” The network has also added actor Scott Grimes as a forensic specialist. Raver and Grimes join previously announced cast members John Corbett, Edwin Hodge and Miguel Ferrer.

Carrie Ferman has been named senior vice president of business strategy and development for international production at Sony Pictures Television, reporting to international production president Andrea Wong. Ferman has previously held positions at Time Warner, Cap Gemini, Disney and NBCUniversal,

Univision’s sports arm Univision Deportes has brought in Marco A. Liceaga, naming him vice president of marketing and promotions. Liceaga had been senior director of the international division at Soccer United Marketing.

PBS SoCal has named Andrew Russell chief operating officer, reporting to president and chief executive Mel Rogers. Russell was previously senior vice president of strategy and research at PBS.

CBS has added Jacki Weaver to the cast of its upcoming comedy “The McCarthys,” playing a mother in a Boston family that’s obsessed with sports. Weaver was nominated for an Oscar for her role in the movie “Silver Linings Playbook.”

The CW has added Danielle Campbell to the cast of “The Originals,” a potential spinoff of “The Vampire Diaries.” Campbell, who previously appeared in “Prison Break,” will appear in the project’s backdoor pilot later this season.

 

Agencies

 

Social marketing agency Dachis Group has named Peter Kim chief solutions architect, a new position at the agency. Kim was most recently vice president and managing director for business transformation at R/GA.

 

CableTV

 

Starz has promoted Ray Milius to executive vice president of programming and IT operations, based in the network’s Englewood, Colo., office. Milius has been with Starz since 1996.

Actor Jonathan Groff has been added to the cast of an HBO comedy pilot, about three gay friends in their thirties living in San Francisco. Groff has most recently appeared in Starz’ “Boss” and Fox’s “Glee.”

 

Radio

 

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has made a handful of moves, including hiring Laura Hagen as Eastern region senior vice president and Kristina Lutz as Central region senior vice president, both working with its sales group Connections. Hagen joins from NBC News, Lutz from Starcom USA. The company has also named Gayle O’Carroll and Chris Baskin Central region vice presidents and Britt Levine West region vice president.

 

Magazines

 

Seventeen magazine has named Mary Alice Stephenson contributing style editor, with her first contributions appearing in the April issue. Stephenson has worked for a number of fashion titles over the years, including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Allure and Marie Claire.
