Rush Limbaugh fans in Los Angeles and San Francisco will find the political talker on a different frequency beginning next year. On Jan. 2 Clear Channel will move Limbaugh’s program to new stations in those markets, meaning he will leave Los Angeles’ KFI-AM and San Francisco’s KKSF-AM. Limbaugh will move to KTLK-AM in Los Angeles and KNEW-AM in San Francisco. Clear Channel is rebranding both as conservative talk stations, and the addition of Limbaugh should give them a big ratings boost.
Entercom has promoted Leslie Scott to digital program director, working with the company’s four radio stations in Seattle. Scott joined the company in 2012 as brand coordinator for KMTT.
Meredith has named Deirdre Finnegan publisher of EatingWell magazine, working with the print title and its web site. Finnegan was previously associate publisher at Coastal Living.
Sam Rosen has been named vice president of marketing at The Atlantic, working alongside publisher Hayley Romer. Rosen was most recently vice president and director of social content at DigitasLBi.
Inc. Magazine has promoted Eric Schurenberg to president, in addition to his duties as editor in chief. Schurenberg replaces Bob LaPointe, who will transition to executive vice president of new business development.
Town&Country magazine has named Nicoletta Santoro creative director at large, effective immediately. Santoro was most recently fashion director at large at Vogue China.
Claudia Foghini has been promoted at Telemundo, rising to senior vice president of production for Telemundo Studios. Foghini was previously senior vice president of content for Telemundo Station Group.
Deportes Telemundo has brought in Ana Jurka as a reporter and co-host, working on shows including “Futbol Estelar” and the network’s Barclays Premier League coverage. Jurka previously worked with Telemundo’s Orlando affiliate.
Comcast has named Todd Porch vice president and general manager for its AdDelivery service, an automated video advertising system. Porch had been at Yahoo, where he was executive director of advertising operations and account management.
NBC Sports has named Rick Allen lead race announcer for its upcoming NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series coverage, beginning in 2015. Allen currently calls races for Fox Sports.
Zoraida Sambolin, co-anchor of CNN’s “Early Start,” is leaving the network to move closer to her family in Chicago. Her last day will be on Dec. 13. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in May and took time off to undergo a double mastectomy.
Todd Taplin has been named executive vice president of global sales, strategy and services at Celtra, a mobile advertising technology company. Taplin had been vice president of the advertising group at Adobe.
Research and brand consulting firm The Sound Research has made four hires, naming Annie Lambla, Millie Forrest and Jessica Sinclair researchers and Alaina Marks office manager. Lambla previously worked as a consultant, while Forrest joins from Soup Library and Marks from Schlesinger Associates. Sinclair previously worked as market research freelancer.
