TNT has ordered six episodes of the reality show “Marshal Law: Texas” from Jerry Bruckheimer, just a few days after the network passed on a drama pilot from the producer. The show, which follows U.S. Marshals working in the Houston area, will air later this year.
Former Cleveland mayor and Ohio state senator Dennis Kucinich has joined Fox News Channel, where he will work as a regular contributor. Kucinich is set to make his first appearance on the Thursday edition of “The O’Reilly Factor.”
Elizabeth Espinosa has been named host of “Sin Limites,” a new show to air on the Spanish-language CNN Latino. Espinosa is also a weekend news anchor on KTLA in Los Angeles.
Publicis Healthcare Communications Group has promoted Nathalie Le Bos, naming her chief financial officer. Le Bos was previously the agency’s chief financial officer for Europe.
Austin agency Greatest Common Factory has made two additions, naming Tyler Crelia and Joel Henderson content producers. Crelia had been at GSD&M, while Henderson had been at Technicolor PostWorks New York.
Paul Gallardo has been promoted at GSD&M, rising to executive producer. Gallardo previously held a number of positions at the agency, including senior digital producer and senior project manager.
Robert Christie, senior vice president of corporate communications at The New York Times, is leaving the newspaper and his position will be eliminated. Vice president of corporate communications Eileen Murphy will now lead the paper’s communications team.
William Booth, a correspondent at The Washington Post, has apologized for plagiarism after he lifted work originally published by Andrea Hricko, professor of preventive medicine in the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. The issue was brought to light when Hricko informed Post ombudsman Patrick Pexton, who says Booth will face “severe and appropriate” punishment. In a statement published by The Washington City Paper, Booth said, “It was an inadvertent and sloppy mistake. But that is no excuse, and I apologize for it. … I also want to apologize to my editors and colleagues, and especially to the readers of the Washington Post, for my failure to measure up.”
Better Homes and Gardens has named Christina Poletto lifestyle editor, reporting to senior deputy lifestyle editor Katherine Pushkar. Poletto joined Meredith in 2010 as senior publicity manager.
Food & Wine magazine has named Jennifer Bayard digital sales director, reporting to executive digital director Nick Van Sicklen. Bayard was previously digital account director at Glamour.com.
Mall media company Eye has made a pair of additions, naming Andrea Blank and Gregg Marshall national sales executives. Blank was previously with Visualcast Outdoor Media Network, while Marshall joins from Access Sports Media.
Online advertising technology company TruEffect has brought in Senthil Kumar and Mark Nelson, naming them senior software engineers. Kumar joins from Level 3, Nelson from CCI.
Digital advertising analysis company eXelate has made two hires, naming Doug Campbell senior vice president of corporate development and Ben Riley director of data partnerships. Campbell joins from Merrill Lynch, Riley from ValueClick.
