Cori Abraham has joined Oxygen Media, becoming senior vice president of development, a new position at the cable network. Abraham was previously vice president of development at Bravo.
Thomas Dekker is in the “Family.” He has joined HBO’s “Cinema Verite,” a behind-the-scenes look at the 1970s documentary “An American Family.” Dekker joins Tim Robbins, James Gandolfini and Diane Lane in the cast.
Prosecutors in Miami Beach have decided not to charge “Jersey Shore” star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola for an alleged incident in a nightclub on May 8. Giancola, who has returned to New York, was accused of punching another woman in the face. The misdemeanor case could be reopened, however, if Giancola returns to Florida.
TagMan, which tracks online marketing campaigns, has named Ave Wrigley chief technical officer and Tim Jones technical operations director, both new positions at the company. Wrigley was previously head of technology at ITN, while Jones was head of project management at Tullo Marshall.
Hugh Wiley is changing magazines. He has been named publisher at Bloomberg Businessweek, effective June 28, reporting to president Paul Bascobert. Wiley, currently publisher at Fortune magazine, has spent the past 25 years at Time Inc. He takes over for Jessica Sibley, who is now publisher at The Week.
Teen Vogue has promoted Sabine Feldmann to vice president and publisher, effective immediately. Feldmann was previously associate publisher of advertising, and before that she was chief brand officer, vice president and publisher at Shape.
Sunny Sea Gold has joined Redbook magazine, becoming deputy features editor. She joins from Glamour, where she was health articles editor.
Good Housekeeping magazine has brought in Kelley Gott, naming her associate publisher of sales. Gott was previously advertising director at InStyle, and before that she was an associate publisher at Domino.
Scott Roskowski has been named director of business development at the Television Bureau of Advertising, reporting to executive vice president and chief marketing officer Abby Auerbach. Roskowski was previously vice president of U.S. operations for the Canadian outdoor network Wild TV.
Warner Bros. Television has made two promotions, moving Scott Rowe to senior vice president of worldwide communications and Tammy Golihew to senior vice president of publicity. Rowe was most recently senior vice president of corporate communications for Warner Bros. Entertainment, while Golihew was vice president of TV publicity.
The New York Observer has a new online leader. The newspaper has hired Harleen Kahlon, naming her general manager of online operations. Kahlon had been general manager at TheStreet.com.
Gareth Kay has been promoted to director of brand strategy at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, replacing John Thorpe. Kay was most recently head of digital strategy.
Doremus has named Marcus Kemp co-executive creative director, working alongside Evelyn Neill. Kemp joins the agency from CreativeFeed, where he was a creative director.
