Jennifer Lopez will show off her "Moves" on MTV this coming fall, executive producing the reality-based TV show focusing on six dancers struggle to make it in the business. The show is scheduled for eight episodes.
According to reports, recent Amazing Race winners BJ Averell and Tyler Macniven may be hosting a travel television series. They havent said which channel is offering them the gig but perhaps its an international one. Averell and Macniven know more than 30 foreign languages between them.

One of Duane Dog Chapmans 11 kids, 23-year-old Barbara Katy Chapman, died in a car accident in Alaska Friday, just one day before the bounty hunter reality TV star was set to marry his longtime girlfriend. The wedding went on, with the Chapmans using it as an occasion to celebrate Barbaras life, according to A&E. It will be featured in the Aug. 14 episode of the show.
George Hayes and Aaron Jones, two of three people who admitted to being part of an illegal pre-release group called Chromance that distributed music on the internet, are going to jail. Hayes will serve 15 months, while Jones is set to do six months in the slammer followed by six months of house arrest.
BBC deejay Chris Moyles certainly has been acting odd lately. He didnt show up to host his morning radio show today, and listeners were asked to help out in the search to find the missing radio host. Turns out it may have been just a big hoax, as Moyles called in at the end of the program, but other reports suggest that his bosses had no idea what was going on. Moyles has been in the news recently. He was accused of having a racist moment by Halle Berry when he told her during an interview that he was impersonating a big black American.
Oprah Winfrey commands even more money than President Clinton to write a book. Not long after Clintons record $12 million advance was announced, the host of TV's No. 1 talk show has signed a deal for even more to write about her struggles maintaining her weight. The exact amount has not been announced, but publisher Simon and Schuster says its more than what Clinton got for his title.
Conan OBrien will host the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards this Aug. 27 on NBC. OBrien, whose Late Night with Conan OBrien dominates the late-night shows, also hosted the awards show back in 2002.
Tony Okungbowa, the deejay who helped Ellen DeGeneres find her groove on Ellen, is leaving the show to pursue a career in acting after three years on the program. Today shes throwing a going away party in his honor. Okungbowa is getting some nice bling, well wishes from a host of celebrities, and airline tickets as a thank you.
The Arabian Business Standard has named the Observers Frank Kane its editor. Kane had been business editor at the London paper for five years. The Middle Eastern startup daily will launch this fall, and it will be published by ITP.
Ted Turner stepped down from the Time Warner board on Friday, and as youd expect with Turner in these recent years, his departure was marked by acrimony. "I've been with the company and its successors for 55 years," Turner said to company shareholders at the Georgia World Congress Center. "I just wish that in the past five years I could have made a bigger contribution. ... I didn't have the opportunity." The gathered crowd gave Turner a standing ovation. Turner is still the companys largest individual shareholder.
Scholastic has named Gil A. Dickoff vice president and treasurer at Scholastic starting tomorrow. He will be in charge of the companys financial leadership team.
