Michael Bollo has joined Spanish-language network V-me as vice president of sales and sponsorship. Bollo previously held a similar position at Univision.
Comcast Cable’s Comcast Spotlight has promoted Mark Altschuler to vice president of national sales, where he’ll supervise a team of sales directors. The company has also promoted Bill Haase to vice president of finance, up from his previous position as senior director.
A&E Television Networks has made three promotions within its affiliate sales and marketing team: Carlos Baez to vice president of affiliate sales and marketing for the Southeast region; David Kelly to vice president of national accounts; and Pamela Politano to senior director of affiliate sales operations.
Cable network CMT has ordered eight episodes of “Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling,” to premiere this fall. Hogan will help train 10 celebrities as they prepare to enter the ring.

Wall Street Journal reporter James Bandler is leaving the paper after nine years. Next month he will join Fortune magazine.
Michael Rosenbaum, who plays Lex Luthor on CW’s “Smallville,” is leaving the show and will be replaced by two new villains. Rosenbaum, who may return for guest appearances, follows the show’s exiting creators, Al Gough and Miles Millar, who said earlier this spring that they will be leaving the show.
GMR Marketing is opening an office in Beijing, and it’s named Steve Raw managing director of the new GMR China. Raw has previous experience in the region, including a stint with Imagination in Hong Kong.

Social media marketing firm PopularMedia has brought in Jane Paolucci as senior vice president of marketing, in charge building the agency’s presence in the market. Paolucci was most recently worldwide vice president of marketing at Coremetrics.
Media buying agency Initiative has hired Todd Gordon as senior vice president and director of national broadcast, and also promoted Kris Magel to executive vice president of national broadcast. Gordon joins from MediaCom, where he was managing partner.
Barbara Dowling has been named senior vice president of customer engagements at Cadient Group, a marketing agency in the healthcare industry. Dowling was previously SVP of strategy, sales and service at Lathian Systems.
