Turner Sports has upped Will Funk to senior vice president of sports sponsorships and sales. He will also manage the integration of online and television media for the networks' sports properties. Funk was previously vice president of sports sponsorships and sales, and was instrumental in TNT’s first-ever NASCAR telecast.
Comcast Network Advertising Sales has promoted Holly Miller to vice president of advertising sales for the central region of Comcast Networks. Miller will oversee the region, including Chicago, Minneapolis and Dallas and Houston, supervising ad sales activities for Comcast's national networks.
ReelzChannel has named Terry O'Reilly executive vice president and general manager, a newly created position. O'Reilly will now oversee the network's programming and on-air promotion efforts, joining from a position as president of Hubbard Holdings.
Charlie Dietz, chief technology officer and senior vice president of research and development for Insight Communications, is retiring at the end of a 37-year career in cable. Dietz joined Insight in 1996 as senior vice president of engineering and rose to CTO at the end of 2001.

The president and chief executive of Clear Channel Television, Donald D. Perry, is stepping down from his post. Craig Millar, currently senior vice president for the southern region, will take over temporarily until a replacement is named.
Disney-ABC Domestic Television has promoted Curtis Pace to vice president of Midwest region sales and Shelby Mason to vice president of Western region sales. Pace will be based in Chicago and will oversee first-run, off-net and theatrical sales for broadcast syndication, while Mason will work out of Burbank and supervise programming sales for broadcast syndication.
CBS Television Stations has named Gary Bembridge vice president of national advertising sales for the digital media group. In his new role, Bembridge will develop and implement national ad sales strategies for the web sites and other digital media properties.
ABC has hired Jake Whitman as senior producer, Greig Todd as broadcast producer and Josh Eure as coordinating producer for "World News Now." Todd was previously executive producer at WPVI, and Eure had been executive producer at WWOR-TV.
Dick Wolf, creator of the "Law & Order" series, is in negotiations with producer NBC Universal for a British incarnation of the show, tentatively called "L&O: London." Russia already has its own versions of the franchise, but the London version will be the first English-speaking incarnation outside the U.S.
The New York Times has named Joe Kahn and Ian Fisher foreign deputies, to succeed Ethan Bronner, who is heading to Jerusalem. Kahn was recently overseas in China with the Wall Street Journal, while Fisher has worked previously overseas in Africa, Eastern Europe, Iraq, Israel and Western Europe.
Avenue A | Razorfish has hired Ron Wessels as associate creative director, Jedd Davis as strategy director and Don Bruns as user experience lead, all in the Philadelphia office. Wessels joins from Flashpoint-DBC and Davis from SFGT, Philadelphia. Bruns had been a consultant at a number of federal agencies.
