In dayparts for the week ended March 14, NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” led the week in late night with 4.4 million total viewers, followed by CBS’s “The Late Show with David Letterman” with 3.8 million and ABC’s “Nightline” with 3.7 million. In late late night, CBS’s “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” averaged 1.8 million total viewers, with NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” at 1.7 million, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” at 1.6 million and NBC’s “Last Call with Carson Daly” at 0.9 million. Among 18-49s, “Tonight” averaged a 1.2 rating, with “Late Show” and “Nightline” each at a 1.0. In late late night, “Late Night” and “Late Late Show” each averaged a 0.6, “Kimmel” a 0.5 and “Last Call” a 0.4. Monday’s “Last Call” and Friday night’s “Kimmel” were repeats.

NBC’s “Meet the Press” was the most-watched Sunday morning show on March 14 with 3.04 million tuning in, followed by CBS’s “Face the Nation” with 2.25 million, ABC’s “This Week” with 2.23 million and “Fox News Sunday” with 1.14 million. Among the 25-54 demographic, NBC averaged 876,000 viewers, with ABC at 711,000, CBS at 629,000 and Fox at 399,000.

In morning shows, NBC’s “Today” was first for the week with 5.58 million total viewers, followed by ABC’s “Good Morning America” with 4.65 million and CBS’s “The Early Show” at 2.77 million. “Today” averaged a 4.2 household rating and a 15 share, with “Good Morning America” at 3.5/13 and “Early Show” at 2.1/8.

In evening network news, NBC’s “Nightly News with Brian Williams” was first with 9.14 million total viewers and a 2.2 rating among adults 25-54. ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer” averaged 7.95 million viewers and a 1.8 rating, followed by CBS’s “Evening News with Katie Couric” with 6.14 million and a 1.5 rating.

In daytime, CBS was first for the week with 3.71 million total viewers, followed by NBC with 2.93 million and ABC with 2.84 million. Among 18-49s, NBC averaged a 1.3 rating, followed by ABC and CBS at 1.2.
