Will she or won't she? The Miley buzz.

Between that infamous Vanity Fair photo shoot and the suggestive pictures that have been floating around the internet, Miley Cyrus apparently feels she’s done enough to sex up her image this year.

The 15-year-old pop star, who hosts Fox’s “Teen Choice Awards” tonight at 8 p.m., turned down an offer from “I Kissed a Girl” singer Katy Perry to recreate the infamous Britney Spears-Madonna liplock from the “MTV Video Awards” a few years back.

Perry may or may not have been joking last week when she floated the idea of doing the kiss on “Teen Choice” to a group of reporters.

When E! asked Cyrus if she was interested, she responded with a polite “No thanks,” and insisted Perry, who sang backup on a few tracks from Cyrus’ new album, must have been kidding.

Still, bloggers across the country picked up on the talk, and thus some may be expecting something outrageous out of Cyrus when tonight’s show airs.

That’s unlikely. It’s airing on broadcast, not cable, for one thing, and it taped last night, meaning Fox has had time to edit any questionable content out of the show. But word at press time was everything went smoothly and decently.

Last year’s “Teen Choice” ratings slipped 19 percent among adults 18-49 but still performed reasonably well among teens. It should win its timeslot in that demo at least, especially since Cyrus’ newly released album, “Breakout,” has been burning up the charts.
