Best bet on broadcast: CBS, “Men’s NCAA Tournament,” 7 p.m. More regional semifinal action.
Best bet on cable: HBO, “In Treatment,” 9:30 p.m. Season finale. The nine-week experimental show ends with psychoanalyst Paul Weston paying Laura a visit. No word yet on whether they’ll be making a season two.
Top movie: Starz, “The Hoax,” 9 p.m. What could be more bizarre than a real Howard Hughes biography? The story behind the fake one produced by a writer in this 2007 Richard Gere flick.
SATURDAY
Best bet on broadcast: Ion, “Prairie Fever,” 9 p.m. “Hercules’” Kevin Sorbo turns cowboy in a new Western movie.
Best bet on cable: Nickelodeon, “Kids’ Choice Awards,” 8 p.m. Jack Black returns for his second stint as host of the annual kids’ awards show.
Top sporting event: ESPN, “Women’s NCAA Tournament,” 9 p.m. See women’s regional semifinal action.
SUNDAY
Best bet on broadcast: CBS, “Men’s NCAA Tournament,” 2 p.m. The Final Four will be set after today’s regional finals.
Best bet on cable: Showtime, “The Tudors,” 9 p.m. Season premiere. The sexed-up soap about randy royals returns with Henry forming the Church of England.
Top sporting event: ESPN, “Sunday Night Baseball,” 8 p.m. Welcome back, baseball. The Washington Nationals host the continental season opener (the season began earlier this week in Tokyo) at their new ballpark, facing the Atlanta Braves.
