ABC ran its Monday winning streak to three weeks with another strong performance from “Dancing with the Stars” last night.

“Dancing” averaged a 5.3 adults 18-49 rating from 8 to 10 p.m., according to Nielsen overnights, winning its timeslot handily and boosting ABC to a 4.6 rating and 12 share for the night, ahead of second-place Fox’s 4.2/11.

It was the third straight Monday victory for the network, dating back to the season finale of “The Bachelor” and including the eighth-season premiere of “Dancing” last week.

“Dancing” was the night’s highest-rated show, bettering “House” on Fox and “Two and a Half Men” on CBS, which tied for second at 4.8, by 0.5. “Dancing” grew from a 4.9 in its first hour to a 5.7 in its second.

Still, it remains a competitive night, with ABC, Fox and CBS all averaging 4.0s or above, the only night of the week where three networks can boast such numbers. Leadership on the night has shifted between the three all year, with CBS dominating the fall and Fox surging ahead during early first quarter before “Dancing” returned.

For the night, CBS placed third at 4.0/11, Univision fourth at 1.6/4, NBC fifth at 1.3/3 and CW sixth at 1.1/3.

As a reminder, all ratings are based on live-plus-same-day DVR playback. Seven-day DVR data won’t be available for several weeks. Twenty-eight percent of Nielsen households have DVRs.

At 8 p.m. ABC was first with a 4.9 for “Dancing,” followed closely by Fox with a 4.8 for “House.” CBS was third with a 3.8 for “The Big Bang Theory” (3.7) and “How I Met Your Mother” (3.8), Univision fourth with a 1.6 for “Cuidado con el Angel,” NBC fifth with a 1.3 for a repeat of “Chuck” and CW sixth with a 1.1 for “Gossip Girl.”

ABC was first again at 9 p.m. with a 5.7 for more “Stars,” while CBS moved to second with a 4.4 for “Two and a Half Men” (4.8) and “Rules of Engagement” (4.0). Fox was third with a 3.7 for “24,” Univision fourth with a 1.9 for “Mañana Es para Siempre,” CW fifth with a 1.2 for “One Tree Hill” and NBC sixth with a 1.1 for a “Heroes” rerun.

At 10 p.m. CBS took the lead with a 3.8 for “CSI: Miami,” with ABC second with a 3.1 for “Castle,” about even to last week’s debut, a good sign for the network. NBC was third with a 1.3 for a repeat of “Medium” and Univision fourth with a 1.2 for “Cristina.”

ABC also led the night among households with an 11.4 average overnight rating and an 18 share. CBS was second at 7.3/11, Fox third at 7.1/11, NBC fourth at 2.4/4, Univision fifth at 2.1/3 and CW sixth at 1.5/2.
