It was a slow Monday for broadcast last night with many shows seeing declines versus the previous week as the November sweeps near their end tomorrow night.

As usual CBS won the night with a 4.0 adults 18-49 rating and 10 share, according to Nielsen overnights, down from a 4.2/10 last week.

"Dancing with the Stars" was one of the few shows to see a week-to-week increase, up 13 percent from a 3.2 for last week's two-hour edition to a 3.6 for last night's one-hour edition.

Still, the first half of the show's two-part season finale was down 27 percent from last year, when the controversial Bristol Palin made the finals. The second part airs tonight.

"Stars" lead-out "You Deserve It," a new limited-run game show, managed just a 2.1 at 9 p.m., losing 42 percent of "Stars'" audience.

Meanwhile, Fox's "Terra Nova" continued to see declines, with the dinosaur drama dropping 9 percent from last week to a 2.1 at 8 p.m.

Every show in CBS's top-rated lineup saw week-to-week declines, and NBC's new newsmagazine "Rock Center with Brian Williams" slipped 18 percent from last week's season high to a 0.9 at 10 p.m.

Lead-in "The Sing Off" did see a week-to-week gain, up 8 percent.

With CBS way out in front in primetime, ABC was second at 2.8/7, Fox third at 2.3/6, Univision fourth at 1.5/4, NBC fifth at 1.2/3, CW sixth at 0.7/2 and Telemundo seventh at 0.5/1.

As a reminder, all ratings are based on live-plus-same-day DVR playback, which includes shows replayed before 3 a.m. the night before. Seven-day DVR data won’t be available for several weeks. Forty-two percent of Nielsen households have DVRs.

CBS was first during each hour of the night, starting with a 4.4 at 8 p.m. for "How I Met Your Mother" (4.3) and "2 Broke Girls" (4.4), with ABC second with a 3.6 for "Stars." Fox was third with a 2.1 for "Terra," Univision fourth with a 1.4 for "Una Familia con Suerte," NBC fifth with a 1.3 for "Sing," CW sixth with a 0.7 for "Gossip Girl" and Telemundo seventh with a 0.6 for "Mi Corazon Insiste."

At 9 p.m. CBS led with a 4.7 for "Two and a Half Men" (5.2) and "Mike & Molly" (4.2), followed by Fox with a 2.5 for "House." ABC was third with a 2.1 for "Deserve," Univision fourth with a 1.7 for "La Fuerza del Destino," NBC fifth with a 1.5 for more "Sing," CW sixth with a 0.7 for "Hart of Dixie" and Telemundo seventh with a 0.5 for "Flor Salvaje."

CBS finished first once again at 10 p.m. with a 2.8 for "Hawaii Five-0," while ABC moved to second with a 2.7 for "Castle," up 13 percent week-to-week despite the lack of a "Stars" lead-in. Univision was third with a 1.4 for "Don Francisco Presenta," NBC fourth with a 0.9 for "Rock Center with Brian Williams" and Telemundo fifth with a 0.6 for "La Casa de al Lado."

ABC was first for the night among households with a 9.0 average overnight rating and a 14 share. CBS was second at 7.2/11, Fox third at 4.2/6, NBC fourth at 2.5/4, Univision fifth at 1.8/3, CW sixth at 1.1/2 and Telemundo seventh at 0.8/1.
