Fox scored another Thursday touchdown with a special two-hour edition of “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” featuring the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.

The game show led Fox to its second straight Thursday victory among adults 18-49, and just its second in-season win on the night with regularly scheduled programming in the last 15 years. Of course it didn’t hurt that the competition was largely reduced to reruns.

Fox averaged a 3.2 adults 18-49 rating and a 9 share last night, according to Nielsen overnights, just ahead of NBC’s 3.1/8. Not coincidentally, those were the only two networks with entirely original lineups.

"Smarter" was up 28 percent over its season-to-date average of 2.5.

Nielsen was four hours late in issuing fast nationals, blaming processing issues.

CBS placed third for the night at 2.6/7, ABC fourth at 2.4/7, Univision fifth at 1.7/5 and CW sixth at 0.7/2.

At 8 p.m. Fox led with a 3.2 for its first hour of “Smarter,” followed by ABC with a 2.9 for “Ugly Betty.” NBC was third with a 2.7 for “Chuck,” Univision fourth with a 2.1 for “Al Diablo con los Guapos,” CBS fifth with a 1.8 for a repeat of “CSI: NY” and CW sixth with a 0.8 for a repeat of “Smallville.”

NBC took the lead at 9 p.m. with a 3.7 for “Celebrity Apprentice,” the night’s highest-rated show, while Fox and CBS tied for second at 3.3, Fox for its second hour of “Smarter?” and CBS for a repeat of “CSI.” ABC was fourth with a 2.5 for a repeat of “Grey’s Anatomy,” Univision fifth with a 1.7 for “Pasion” and CW sixth with a 0.7 for a “Supernatural” repeat.

At 10 p.m. NBC led again with a 2.9 for another episode of “Chuck,” with CBS a close second with a 2.8 for a repeat of “Without a Trace.” ABC was third with a 1.9 for “Big Shots” and Univision fourth with a 1.4 for “Amas de Casa Desperadas.”

Among households, CBS was first for the night with a 7.5 average overnight rating and a 12 share. Fox was second at 6.4/10, ABC and NBC tied for third at 4.9/8, Univision fifth at 2.1/3 and CW sixth at 1.3/2.
