Mobile: Breakout year, with ad
spending soaring 80 percent

The recent boom in smartphone and tablet ownership has resulted in even bigger growth than analysts had expected for mobile advertising.

That's according to a new report from eMarketer, the digital marketing and media research firm, which predicts that U.S. mobile ad spending will soar 80 percent this . . . .
