To tell the Truth,
we missed Eliza

'Tru Calling' star is back on 'That '70s Show'

Alas, Eliza Dushku's "Tru Calling" will not be returning to Fox as the network had promised last spring. Instead of bringing back the offbeat babe-in-a-morgue show, which improved throughout its first season, Fox has been cycling a host of babe-on-a-beach shows through the Thursday 9 p.m. slot instead.
Dushku can console herself with the fact that neither "North Shore" nor "Point Pleasant" has done particularly well in the post-"O.C." time slot.
And perhaps as further consolation, she shows up tonight on Fox's rapidly aging "That '70s Show" as a hottie working at the same radio station as Donna.
There's no arguing with Dushku's ability to play a hot chick, as last year's "Tru Calling" ads proved (a dripping wet Dushku looking seductively at the camera and conveying not at all the point of the show). But she's also a good actress, as she showed with multiple seasons on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
Eliza, it's great to have you back. Maybe Fox can find another place for you permanently on the schedule.
